Archaeological sites have always been a source of fascination for me. Shards and fragments are unearthed and preserved, then documented and assembled in some fashion that may or may not reflect the reality of an earlier civilization. In this artwork, the artist and the archaeologist meet on common ground, sifting and searching, reconstructing what was or what might have been, imagining what might be.
